Junior High News

Up-coming opportunities for Junior High students:

Below, you will see an attachment for the mandatory rehearsals for the Twilight Zone shadow play performance on October 16. Please note, that like Play, mandatory means that you MUST attend and for the duration of each rehearsal time. In that way, we will hopefully be able to synchronize the shadows with the speaking roles for the entertainment of our audience!

Mandatory rehearsals for The Twilight Zone shadow plays

Thank you, all of you who have volunteered to work Funfest this Friday, October 2! Grade 8 may have a dress-down day all day on Friday, while grades 6-7 may have a dress-down day for half of the day - changing into dress-down clothes during lunch/recess time. Please choose clothing wisely! Pick-up time for Junior High students is 5:30 - after we all help clean up!

The Fall drama production will be The Christmas Candle! Any Junior High students who are interested in joining the cast and crew should take a look at the Mandatory Rehearsal Calendar below. Please make sure that you can meet those mandatory dates. Rehearsals in general are held Wednesdays and Thursdays from 3-4. Students only need to minimally attend weekly rehearsals one of those two days each week until mandatory rehearsals begin. If a students can attend both rehearsal days, (even sometimes) that's great! Students need to bring the signed permission slip to 'auditions'  (just an opportunity for the teacher to hear the student's voice) on September 2.
